With so many Adjustable Rate Mortgages coming due, there has been a flurry of refinancing activity going on. Sadly, not everyone that needs to will be able to refinance their home. In some areas, especially those with high foreclosure rates, some home owners are find themselves upside down in their homes. So getting a new loan for a home that they owe more than the current market value is impossible.

There are some mortgage lenders who are advertising mortgages for up to 125% of the value of the home. Of course the interest rate will be higher than a normal loan and there are some strict qualifications, but those loans are still out there.

The good news is mortgage companies are more willing to work with borrowers to reach a middle ground. If you are thinking about refinancing your home and have questions, this site has a lot of refinance information, including articles, a forum and some nice calculators.
